LEADERSHIP TEAM

Sonia is responsible for developing and overseeing an institutional framework for the company’s existing debt and equity relationships, along with the creation and development of new programmatic relationships that lead to a portfolio-wide strategy for financing both the equity and debt by focusing on efficiency and innovation. Sonia has over 30 years of Multi-Family experience. Sonia is also responsible for negotiation of specific deal terms and the closing of individual financing of the projects subject to the needs of the development team leads, along with coordination of interim financings with the company’s internal  direction of JVPM's investment sales effort. Sonia has designations of TCS LIHTC,LIHC all TDHCA issued, NOVOGRADAC 93, ESPIRE(HUD),CPN,Dominium Operation Essential and a Dale Carnegie 2003 Communication Graduate.

Prior to joining JVPM. Sonia  served as a senior associate at Western Rim Property Services, a global private investment firm managing more than $29 million in assets on behalf of institutional investors working closely with Marcus Hiles.  Sonia was responsible for identifying and executing private market investments in affordable housing and the acquisition, development and construction of single-family residential, mixed-use properties and master planned communities.

Prior to joining JVPM,  Sonia worked as Director of Operations at Townview Realtors and later served as an developmental associate for Dominium where she was responsible for generating and analyzing new affordable housing investments and was instrumental in increasing her portfolio that was in the 18th position of 29 Regions to the 4th position in less than 6 months. The portfolio consisted of 8 properties in 3 states that including Missouri, Michigan, Ohio and Texas- 3 Senior 55 and older Tax Credit properties and 3 Family Tax Credit and 2 Mixed Family Unit Properties. It can be stated that Sonia is an expert in the Tax Credit field. Sonia attended Prairie View A&M to purse a Bachelors of Science of Business Administration.

Chief Construction and Architecture Officer & Executive Vice President at JVPM, David is responsible for managing all JVPM's construction projects. Evans is responsible for $150 million of new construction, renovation and major repairs within JVPM's portfolio.

Evan's experience is instrumental in maintaining a positive working relationship with outside consultants to ensure projects are completed with high quality standards, on time and within budget. He also works with numerous Architectural and Engineering partners to ensure timely delivery of accurate project documents.

Evans has over 30 years of General Contracting experience. Prior to joining JVPM he had the opportunity to build several projects in the Dallas and Plano area.

Evans held a Brokers Real Estate License and certifications in Construction Science and Management.

As Chief of Staff and Senior Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis, John-Morgan leads JVPM's Investment Committee, a consulting group of analysts that are business partners with other departments and the financial reporting to senior executives, a transaction services team, and various estate planning efforts.  Additionally, he assists with board meeting preparation as well as participating in board meetings, helps lead JVPM's treasury function and assists with the closing of dispositions and portfolio refinances. John-Morgan serves as the Chief of Staff to Managing Partner, Keeton-White and in that role helps Keeton-White with the implementation of numerous strategic initiatives across the JVPM enterprise. 

He also served as Vice President of SKG Management, his responsibilities in this role included portfolio budget preparation, financial statement review, dispositions, and working with outside Limited Partners to exit partnerships at, or near, the end of the tax credit compliance period.

Henry attended Prairieview for a Bachelor of Arts degree in Management.

Cheri  does all of JVPM's Interior design through the art and science of understanding people's behavior to create functional spaces within our buildings.  Cheri has a natural interior decorating eye for furnishing or adorning of a space with decorative elements to achieve a certain aesthetic. Cheri designs all of the offices and model units, we were pleased to have her join the JVPM team in October 2016.
